Village Launch offers Greenville small business owners opportunity to thrive
A Greenville organization aimed at helping under-resourced small business owners and entrepreneurs is offering its mentoring services to anyone who needs it. Village Launch will host a social and information session Tuesday at Greenville’s Poe West development, at 556 Perry Avenue. The session runs from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. and is open to people who need business mentors as well as those who want to offer their mentoring services. Village Launch creator Rhonda Rawlins says the service can create a network of possibilities. “Some of our entrepreneurs have already started businesses or are thinking about starting a business,” Rawlins said. “What we want to say is it helps them go from surviving to thriving.” The group also hosts monthly “Third Thursday” events at Poe West, which is an open-air market, featuring more than a dozen vendors, food trucks and live music.
