If you’ve got a good workplace culture, you can get recognized on the list of Rochester Top Workplaces.
The annual Democrat and Chronicle program finds the best places to work in our area. Any organization with 35 or more workers in the Rochester metro area is eligible, whether it’s public, private, nonprofit, governmental, national or local.
Companies in Monroe, Ontario, Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, Wayne, Niagara, Wyoming, Erie, Seneca and Yates counties are eligible.
Top Workplaces is unique: Winners are determined not by profits or promises but by a business’ employees. After a company agrees to participate, our partner in the project, Energage, conducts brief employee surveys from August through October to determine the rankings.
Winners are determined in three categories — small, midsized and large businesses.
Nominations are easy and due by Aug. 20. Just go to http://www.democratandchronicle.com/nominate or call (585) 502-1934.
You don’t have to work at a business to nominate it. We encourage businesses that entered previous competitions to join us again this year.
In 2021, 73 organizations were surveyed, and 60 made the grade as Top Workplaces. A total of 7,293 employees responded to the survey.
Rochester’s Top Workplaces 2022 will be revealed in online and print special sections in spring, and they’ll be honored at a special awards celebration.
Energage, the research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 59 markets and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 7,000 organizations in the past year.
Is your workplace a great place for employee? This is the perfect way to let people know.
