THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who scripted history in the assembly polls, has submitted the resignation to Governor. Reaching the capital city from Kannur, he submitted the resignation to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, after convening a cabinet meet.
Usually the governor allows the cabinet to continue as a caretaker after accepting the resignation. The Central Election Commission (CEC) will announce the winners tomorrow and notify to form a new assembly. The LDF meet will be convened and issue a letter fixing the chief minister. The governor then ivite them to form the government.
